Burning Tips For Soy Candles

• Make sure candle is on a flat, heat resistant surface, and away from anything that may catch fire.
• Keep away from drafts and flammable materials.
• Store candles in a cool, dry and dark place.
• Never leave candle burning unattended, especially with pets or children near by.
• Keep wicks centered, trimmed and free from any debris including matches and wick trimmings.
• When burning candle for first time do not trim the wick, afterwards trim to 1/2 inch before lighting.
• Burn at least 2 hours first burn. Make sure your wax pool has reached the outside edges of the container before extinguishing flame. This will prevent tunneling and allows the candle to burn evenly.
• If candle starts to smoke extinguish flame and let wax harden. Then trim the wick before relighting.
• Never burn in a damaged container especially if it is cracked or chipped.
• Avoid moving candles while they are burning.
• Always extinguish flame before replacing lid.
• Do not place in direct sunlight.
• If soy wax is spilled it can easily be cleaned up with soap and warm water.
